Exciting news for cosplay enthusiasts and Discord users! Our Masquerade, Manga Library and Cosplay HQ staff recently came together to form panelist supergroup Masquerade HQ and started hosting a monthly Cosplay Chat on PopCult Anime Con’s Discord server this February.
In February, the HQ team got to know everyone by introducing themselves, answering questions and playing games for prizes! They kicked things up a notch in March with special guest Nicole from Nolia Mabel Skincare! Nicole put on a live costume makeup tutorial, gave out tips and tricks for achieving various cosplay looks and encouraged discussion about favorite products, while the HQ team wrapped things up by sharing their most shocking and hilarious convention stories.
Coming up this month is special guest LeagueofLarcy Cosplay with everything you ever wanted to know about #selfies and taking good photographs of your costumes. Speaking of your costumes, Masq HQ will be opening the floor up to anyone who wants to show off what they’ve been working on with constructive critiques and helpful suggestions only upon request. April’s Cosplay Chat will be on Saturday the 17th from 6pm to 8pm. Cosplay is encouraged but not necessary to participate. Click here to join the PopCult Anime Discord Server!
