As a community-based convention, we prefer to showcase local entertainers, educators and artists over well-known actors or industry guests. Our Local Legends receive guest treatment in exchange for their willingness to provide content at PopCult Anime Con sharing their time, knowledge and skills with our attendees. We believe this format makes our content unique compared to other conventions and allows for more intimate guest content, educational programming, hands-on participation opportunities and affordable convention pricing for attendees. Previous Local Legends include live musicians, popular influencers, scientific cosplayers, professional photographers, award-winning artists and doctorate-holding educators.
