This event means quite a lot to us as PopCult Anime Con is a queer-owned and operated event and Waltham’s first Pride was held the same summer as our move to Watch City. We have Signups opening this weekend for Game Shows and Cosplay Gatherings!
This year’s Game Show signups include the ever-popular Lip Sync Battle and 18+ Dating Game. Cosplayers good with physical comedy, rhythm and dance – Lip Sync Battle is for you! Compete to earn the audience’s favor with your best “singing” performance. Do your talents lie more in improv, quick wit and provocative sass? Entertain an 18+ audience by asking questions to potential suitors in full character role play.

Official Cosplay Gatherings was launched last year at PCAC24. Just as Fan Panels is the bread and butter of convention programming, fan-hosted gatherings have become popular ways to meet fellow cosplayers and fans at events! Seeing this rising form of community, PopCult Anime Con is pleased to dedicate a room for fandom social gatherings and scheduled photoshoots for fans of a specific series or subculture.
