Just over a week to PopCult Anime Con 2022! Here are some updates:
A huge thank you to everyone staying in the convention hotel, the Westin Waltham Boston! Our block has entirely sold out, which means we will be able to stay and expand our block size next year.
COVID 19 POLICY UPDATES: Everyone aged 7 and older that comes through registration will have their Covid-19 vaccination card checked by a member of Operation Hammond, a medical and first-aid provider for conventions. Physical cards and photographs will be accepted, and you may be asked to match the name on your card to a photo ID (so have both out just in case.)
Masks will be mandatory in all active areas of the con hotel. This means all panel, video, gaming, event and exhibitor rooms and main hub hallways such as Registration, Info and the Eden Vale (Main Events) lobby. Please be aware the con hotel is a public building and we can only enforce masks for those attending PopCult Anime Con. We hope everyone will bring their favorite masks, but for anyone who forgets or accidentally loses theirs, masks will be available at the event in both Adult and Children’s sizes (in limited quantities.)

PopCult Anime Con is pleased to announce Anime and Bang Dream cover band GARUPOWER will be giving a live music performance just before the Masquerade. With a repertoire that includes Vocaloid, Idol, and Anime music, this five-piece live band will be debuting 6 new tracks at PCAC22! Learn more about GARUPOWER on Facebook here~
A reminder that for all Full-Weekend pre-registered attendees, Day Zero programming will begin around 8pm and run through midnight on Friday, August 26th. Saturday convention hours are 9am to 1am, and 9am to 9pm on Sunday.
