Speaking of dear Summer, doesn’t it feel like someone’s missing from our Local Legends lineup…? Like totally, it’s Misa on Wheels!! Beloved New England cosplayer and advocate for the disabled, Misa graciously consulted with PopCult Anime Con when we approached her about designing mascots for our con who could represent members of our community so often neglected – and Summer the Mermaid was born! Misa will be appearing again this year as Summer, as well as hosting panels on Cosplay, Bullying, and the Disabled Fandom Community.
