Legend of Larcy Cosplay
First of her Name, Queen of the Salt, Forger of Unnecessarily Large Weapons, Legendary Mischief-Maker, Conqueror of the Crunch
I’m not quite a legend but I am out to make positive waves in the cosplay community. I’m a master craftsman cosplayer of approximately 10 years that specializes in nothing but has tried everything. I love making large props (even though I say I won’t make more every time) and sewing. I’ve dabbled in most cosplay craft basics and really enjoy taking artistic liberties with all of my creations. Most people would say that they recognize my work from the choice of subtle (or not) florals that are incorporated into all of my designs. I like to cosplay from a multitude of genres, including games and anime. I have done a few original concepts in the past as well as gijinka.
I’ve been a cosplay judge at several large cons as well as small local cons. I love small local cons the most and find happiness in the small cosplay groups of New England. I also enjoy a little bit of character charades and anyone who knows me immediately thinks of my Zenitsu antics! I’m hoping to take post-pandemic liberties this year and get back out into the community. I miss the atmosphere of excited fandoms and loving friendships brought together by cosplay and am hoping everything takes a turn for the better in 2022.
I’ll be presenting topics on character design, cosplay modeling and photography, mental health and cosplay, and other similar topics of interest with my friend, Mink the Satyr Cosplay. We can’t wait!

Comiku Studio
The Comiku Girls, Akiko Meigetsu and Li Izumi, are celebrating 20 years attending the convention circuit along the eastern seaboard and beyond! Each has had a pencil (or brush) in their hand since they could hold one and have been telling stories since they could talk. At conventions they are artists, cosplayers and Japanese cultural panelists. In 2004, they debuted their popular Japanese Tea Ceremony Panel and have continued to create unique panels since.
Akiko has a Ph.D. in Biology from Duke University. She studied brush painting with Chinese Master Cong Yuan, and watercolors with esteemed artist Luna Lee Ray. Li has a BA in East Asian Studies and a Masters degree in Classical Japanese Language & Literature from the University of Massachusetts: Amherst. She briefly lived in Akita, Japan as part of her studies and learned firsthand how to wear a kimono, Japanese calligraphy and tea ceremony.

System Arcadia
System Arcadia grew up immersed in two scenes: music and games. For us, the interests bled together. Some of our favorite games were based entirely around creating music. Back in 2006, we were stunned to meet and see Kors K perform live at a local arcade. For us, it was one of the first times an underground Japanese artist came out and spent quality time with the American music game community.
System Arcadia brings quality products to you in the form of video game and live music events. We not only work with arcade machines, we partner with and help represent the producers who write music for those games. We strive to expose the deep relations music and video games have with everyone in order to bring people together. We believe in building memories that last forever.

Misa on Wheels
Misa on Wheels is a New England-based cosplayer with over a decade of experience who has found her passion through this wonderful community. She received her well-known nickname from a dear friend at her first con; “Misa” being the female lead in the anime Death Note, who was her first and most beloved cosplay, and “on Wheels” being her primary method of travel! Misa was born with a form of Muscular Dystrophy, called Charcot-Marie Tooth disease, or CMT for short. The condition made the nerves in her lower arms and lower legs extremely weak causing her to start using a wheelchair at age 10. Misa started her Facebook page a few years back as a place to share photos, convention stories, and her thoughts on cosplay. It has since become the stage for her message, “Cosplay is for Everyone.”

When PopCult Anime Con launched in 2016, we knew we wanted our mascots to reflect those we felt were most underrepresented in the fandom community – including the disabled. In order to do this properly, we reached out to Misa who agreed to consult with us and eventually to attend PCAC as our very own Summer the Mermaid! Misa will also be hosting panels at PCAC22.
